About The Position
This course focuses on intensive practice in academic essay writing. Key areas include grammatical accuracy, well-reasoned expository writing, essay organization, preparation of research papers, and proper acknowledgment of sources. Students will engage in frequent written exercises to develop their composition skills. Use of Writing Centre resources is required outside of regular class hours. This posting is limited to Regular Part-Time Professors.
Requirements
- Ph.D. (English)
- An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
- Employees are under provincial law required to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training.
- All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, Canadians and permanent residents will be given priority.
