About The Position

This position is for a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach ENG1100 CE00, Workshop in Essay Writing, during the Fall 2026 semester. The course focuses on intensive practice in academic essay writing, with an emphasis on grammatical and well-reasoned expository writing, essay organization, preparation of research papers, and proper acknowledgment of sources. Students will engage in frequent written exercises and develop their composition skills. Use of Writing Centre resources is required outside of regular class hours. Requirements

  • Ph.D (English)
  • Research expertise and publications in this area strongly preferred.
  • An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
  • Competence in second language: N/A
  • Employees are required under provincial law to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training.
