About The Position
This position is for an intensive practice course in academic essay writing, focusing on grammatical and well-reasoned expository writing, essay organization, preparation of research papers, and proper acknowledgment of sources. The role involves frequent written exercises and the development of composition skills. Use of Writing Centre resources is required outside regular class hours. This posting is limited to a Regular Part-Time Professor.
Requirements
- Ph.D (English)
- Acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
- Must successfully complete all mandatory legislated training.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada (Canadians and permanent residents given priority).

- Research expertise and publications in this area strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Teach intensive practice in academic essay writing.

- Instruct on essay organization.
