About The Position

As an integral part of the Operational team, the Workshop Facilitator delivers work-readiness interventions to improve TANF program participants’ soft and hard skills. The interventions are intended to improve job readiness and employment preparation and lead to job placement. The facilitator conducts in-person and virtual job-readiness and other program-related workshops for customers, clients, and participants statewide. The role also supports workshop evaluation and content development, coordinates workshops with program and community partners, manages registration and attendance processes, contributes to a monthly calendar of multiple daily workshops, and facilitates staff training as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in human services, social services, education, or a related field.
Self-motivated and flexible team player.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to train and instruct others in a group setting.
Strong customer service skills.
Familiarity with videoconferencing systems.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual ability.
Previous experience working in social services and with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

Work with project leadership to evaluate the success of job-readiness and other program-related workshops.
Participate in workshop content development and recommend content improvements.
Coordinate workshops with program and community partners.
Manage workshop sign-up and sign-in processes.
Track workshop attendance and participation.
Collaborate with the team to create a monthly workshop calendar offering multiple workshops daily.
Facilitate staff training as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
