About The Position
Study Smart Tutors is seeking a part-time College Workshop Facilitator in San Francisco, California. The facilitator will provide in-person learning support to large groups of students in a classroom setting, teaching college workshops. Facilitators will have access to information about class assignments and will adapt to new materials and teaching strategies. They will communicate consistently with Study Smart Tutors staff and partner with the Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to students. Flexible availability is sought Mondays through Fridays during or after school hours.
Requirements
- Must hold a completed four-year degree.
- Teaching or tutoring experience is required.
- Availability to work in person is required.
- Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate learning for large groups of students in a classroom setting.
- Teach college workshop subjects.
- Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies.
- Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart Tutors staff.
- Partner with the Study Smart Tutors Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to students.
