About The Position

As a Vanguard Situational Advisor (VSA) on the Google Concierge Team, the Senior Specialist will help Google plan participants navigate important financial decisions through personalized, one-on-one guidance. Working within a team-based advice model, the advisor delivers point-in-time financial planning and investment recommendations while supporting a high-quality participant experience and the broader plan sponsor relationship.

Advisors engage participants during key financial moments, helping them assess options, evaluate tradeoffs, and take meaningful steps toward their financial goals. The role includes virtual consultations and collaboration across teams to support participant needs and plan sponsor objectives.

Requirements

• CFP® designation required.
• FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses required, or ability to obtain them within established timelines after hire.
• At least three years of experience providing financial planning, retirement planning, investment guidance, or participant/client relationship management within the financial services industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex financial concepts and build trust through consultative conversations.
• Strong financial planning and investment knowledge, with the ability to apply advice to individual participant situations.
• Demonstrated adaptability and ability to operate successfully in an evolving environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting participants within defined contribution retirement plans or workplace retirement programs.
• Experience delivering participant-facing financial planning or investment guidance.
• Experience building trusted relationships and helping individuals navigate complex financial decisions.

Responsibilities
