About The Position

Spend your summer helping shape how people connect and build culture at Smartly. In this role, you’ll work across our global offices to understand what makes a great workplace experience—and turn those insights into events, programs, and ideas that bring people together. You’ll gain hands-on experience in event planning, employee experience, and global collaboration, while making a visible impact across the company.

Requirements

Current student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Global Studies, or a related field
Experience organizing events, social activities, or programs (e.g., student organizations, clubs, Greek life, or community groups)
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage projects from idea to execution
Comfortable meeting new people and building relationships across different backgrounds and cultures
Clear communicator who can turn conversations and observations into actionable ideas
Curious, proactive, and interested in workplace culture and employee experience
Able to balance creativity with structure, including managing budgets and logistics

Responsibilities

Travel to Smartly offices and connect with employees to learn what makes their workplace experience meaningful
Gather insights and identify opportunities to improve how teams connect and engage in-office
Plan and host summer events and smaller in-office experiences across locations
Help design a scalable approach to social programming across our global offices
Partner with Workplace and Events teams to build and manage event budgets
Coordinate end-to-end event logistics, including scheduling, vendors, and communications
Create and manage swag concepts, from idea through ordering and distribution
Present a final set of recommendations to improve workplace experience at Smartly
