Workforce Solutions HVAC Instructors (Part-Time)
About The Position
Virginia Western Community College, a two-year public institution located in Roanoke, VA, is seeking part-time HVAC Instructors for its Workforce Solutions program. The college serves a region including Roanoke, Salem, Roanoke County, Craig County, Franklin County, and southern Botetourt County. The HVAC Instructors will be responsible for teaching students HVAC concepts based on the NCCER Curriculum for HVAC levels 1-4. This instruction aims to prepare students for NCCER credentials in HVAC and to earn credit towards their journeyman's license. The positions are appointed on an as-needed, course-by-course, semester basis.
Requirements
- Experience teaching HVAC concepts.
- Familiarity with NCCER Curriculum for HVAC levels 1-4.
