Workforce Solutions Electrical Instructors (Part-Time)
About The Position
Virginia Western Community College is seeking part-time Electrical Instructors for its Workforce Solutions program. The college is a two-year public institution located in Roanoke, VA, serving a region that includes Roanoke, Salem, Roanoke County, Craig County, Franklin County, and southern Botetourt County. The Electrical Instructors will be responsible for teaching students electrical concepts based on the NCCER Curriculum for Electricity levels 1-4. The goal is to prepare students to obtain NCCER credentials and earn credit towards their journeyman's license. This is an adjunct faculty position, appointed on an as-needed, course-by-course, semester basis.
Requirements
- Experience teaching electrical concepts.
- Familiarity with NCCER Curriculum for Electricity levels 1-4.
