Workforce Solutions Plumbing Instructors (Part-Time)
About The Position
Virginia Western Community College is seeking part-time Plumbing Instructors for its Workforce Solutions program. The instructors will teach students plumbing concepts based on the NCCER Curriculum for Plumbing levels 1-4. The goal is to prepare students to obtain NCCER credentials and earn credit towards their journeyman's license. The college is a two-year public institution located in Roanoke, VA, serving a region that includes Roanoke, Salem, Roanoke County, Craig County, Franklin County, and southern Botetourt County. Established in 1966, the college currently serves over 9,000 students in credit courses and more than 1,400 in workforce and continuing education courses.
Requirements
- Experience teaching plumbing concepts.
- Familiarity with NCCER Curriculum for Plumbing levels 1-4.
