About The Position

Farah & Farah is a client-focused personal injury law firm serving communities throughout Florida and Georgia for over 40 years. The Workers’ Compensation Paralegal handles workers’ compensation cases from intake through settlement, working with clients, medical providers, attorneys, and insurance adjusters to keep case materials organized and cases progressing smoothly. The role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and a commitment to excellent client service. The position is full-time, onsite in a professional office setting, with 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday.

Requirements

Two or more years of experience in workers’ compensation or personal injury law is preferred.
Strong knowledge of Florida workers’ compensation laws and procedures.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Proficiency with legal case management software.
High level of attention to detail and professionalism.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of workers’ compensation claims under an attorney’s supervision.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and answering case-related questions.
Collect, review, and organize medical records, employment information, and other case documentation.
Monitor case timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
Communicate with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and opposing counsel as needed.
Prepare and submit required documentation to the Division of Workers’ Compensation.
Assist with preparing demand packages and settlement documentation.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in case management software.
Collaborate with legal assistants and other team members to ensure seamless case progression.
