About The Position

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an attorney interested in learning Workers' Compensation from the ground up. The Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney will work with experienced Workers' Compensation litigators handling a heavy and complex caseload and hearings. This role is part of a rapidly growing practice group and offers a linear growth path. After learning Workers' Compensation end to end, the attorney will receive a robust flow of cases.

Requirements

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the Florida State Bar Association.
• Ability to manage a high volume of cases and hearings.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle cases and hearings on a day-to-day basis.
• Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests and responses, demands, motions, and memoranda.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Interact with expert witnesses, including participating in conferences and drafting expert reports and affidavits.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
