About The Position

The Workday Specialist will support the Senior Global Workday Administrator in various aspects of the Workday platform. This includes configuration, reporting, training, data management, security, and troubleshooting. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate business requirements into system configurations. The specialist will also play a key role in preparing the HR team for Workday releases and participating in the system life cycle for enhancements and new features. Collaboration with global teams and maintaining confidentiality are essential.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into system configurations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Familiarity with human resources policies and procedures.

  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams globally.
  • Ability to keep information confidential.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience with Workday HCM and Payroll.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Global Workday Administrator in the configuration of business processes.
  • Fulfill ad hoc report requests.
  • Deliver end-user training.
  • Perform ongoing data management across the global Workday platform.
  • Maintain Workday security roles and permissions to ensure appropriate data access and compliance.
  • Maintain Workday data integrity and compliance by executing routine, ad hoc audits, and quality checks.
  • Partner with regional teams to resolve discrepancies at the source.
  • Review and troubleshoot system errors raised by team members globally with guidance from the Senior Global Workday Administrator.
  • Prepare the HR team globally for Workday releases by reviewing release notes, assessing impacts, communicating changes, and coordinating testing.
  • Participate in all phases of the system life cycle as requested for system enhancements and new feature implementations.
  • Research, identify, and troubleshoot system issues and provide user support globally.
  • Modify and customize Workday and test new applications and features.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
