Wood Shop Operator - Pivotal Health Solutions
About The Position
Pivotal Health Solutions is seeking a Wood Shop Assembler to produce finished products through assembly and manufacturing. The role manufactures wood lockers, athletic training equipment, and other products using hand tools, power tools, and CNC equipment. The assembler follows work instructions and established procedures, meets production time and quality standards, maintains an organized work area, and documents production and quality activities. The position also involves restocking parts and materials through a Kanban system and following applicable safety requirements. Other duties may be assigned. The role requires the ability to perform its essential duties satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform those duties.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and drawings.
- CNC machine experience.
- High level of mechanical aptitude.
- Good communication skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach high and low, and work at a constant pace.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
- Valid driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- Previous woodshop or wood fabrication experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and CNC equipment to manufacture wood lockers, athletic training equipment, and related products.
- Assemble wood components into finished products on time and within Pivotal Health Solutions quality standards.
- Use work instructions to follow established assembly procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
- Complete production and quality forms to document work.
- Use the Kanban system to restock depleted parts and materials.
- Build defect-free products that meet quality standards and are completed within time standards.
- Adhere to safety standards and requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
