About The Position

The Women's Spa Attendant helps maintain a calm, immaculate, and safe environment in the spa and fitness facilities at The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago. The role is responsible for cleanliness and sanitation in public areas, treatment rooms, and locker rooms, and for ensuring spaces are stocked with supplies, towels, and linens. The attendant provides warm, discreet guest service, responds to inquiries, and helps ensure guest comfort, privacy, and safety.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of personal training experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and employees.
• Positive and friendly demeanor at all times.
• Ability to perform a full range of movements, including standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, climbing, crawling, squatting, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize the spa, fitness center, locker rooms, showers, vanities, machines, and equipment in accordance with federal, state, local, and company standards.
• Acknowledge and respond to guests’ needs and inquiries efficiently and in a friendly manner.
• Stock and replenish supplies and products, including clean towels, fresh water, and drinking cups.
• Monitor facility use to help ensure guest safety.
• Instruct guests on where they may change or dress for treatments and experiences.
• Keep guest lounge and deck areas neat and sanitary.
• Maintain all spaces in neat, safe, and sanitary condition.
• Ensure guests are properly checked in and out of lockers as necessary.
