About The Position

The Men's Spa Attendant helps provide a relaxing, safe and welcoming spa experience by maintaining the men’s locker room and other assigned spa and fitness areas to high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, organization and presentation. The role includes welcoming guests, responding to their needs and inquiries, replenishing towels and amenities, and ensuring facilities remain clean, orderly and inviting throughout the day. The attendant uses attentiveness, discretion and a friendly, professional manner to help create a seamless guest experience consistent with The Ritz-Carlton’s hospitality standards. Spa cleaning attendants are responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the Spa and Fitness Center’s public areas, treatment rooms and locker rooms, and ensure areas are properly stocked with supplies, towels and linen. The position requires the ability to perform a range of physical movements and lift up to 25 pounds. A high school diploma or GED is required; customer service experience is preferred.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to communicate effectively with guests and employees.
Positive and friendly demeanor.
Ability to perform continuous changes among standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, climbing, crawling, squatting, lifting, pushing and pulling.
Ability to lift 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize spa facilities, fitness center, locker rooms, showers, vanities, machines and equipment in accordance with applicable standards.
Respond to guests’ needs and inquiries efficiently and in a friendly manner.
Stock and replenish supplies and products, including clean towels, fresh water and drinking cups.
Monitor facility use to help ensure guest safety.
Direct guests to areas where they may change or dress for treatments and experiences.
Keep guest lounge and deck areas neat and sanitary.
Maintain all spaces in neat, safe and sanitary condition.
Ensure guests are properly checked in and out of lockers as necessary.
