About The Position

The Men's Spa Attendant is responsible for providing efficient, positive, and professional care to guests in the private lounge, locker areas, fitness area, and related facilities. The attendant maintains a clean, neat, and immaculate environment while ensuring guests receive attentive service, privacy, care, and respect.

This is a visible guest-facing position requiring strong communication and customer service skills, a professional appearance, the ability to resolve conflict and multitask, and familiarity with the resort, spa treatments, and salon services. The attendant greets and escorts guests, assigns lockers, issues robes and slippers, monitors schedules, maintains and replenishes facility supplies, and helps ensure safe use of spa amenities and fitness equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least one year of related customer service experience, preferably in a spa environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Fluent and literate in English.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use a personal computer.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance, resolve conflict, follow directions and guest requests, and multitask.
• Attention to detail.
• Knowledge of spa treatments and salon services.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, assign lockers, issue robes and slippers, and escort guests to service areas, locker rooms, wet areas, the fitness center, and manicure and pedicure areas in a timely manner.
• Monitor the schedule to help ensure punctuality in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Maintain guest privacy, care, and respect.
• Keep the spa clean and spotless, and conduct walk-throughs to ensure all areas are clean and orderly.
• Replenish robes, towels, lockers, sandals, toiletries, beverage dispensers, and other supplies.
• Direct guests in the proper use of whirlpools, saunas, and steam rooms, and help ensure guest safety.
• Maintain fitness center equipment in clean, working condition.
• Assist guests as needed by providing supplies such as towels and soaps, while delivering courteous service.
• Suggest treatments in other departments to encourage cross-selling.
• Work effectively with others as part of a team.
