About The Position
The Men’s Spa Attendant helps provide a relaxing, comfortable and seamless spa experience by maintaining the men’s locker room and other spa and fitness-center areas to high standards of cleanliness, organization and presentation. The role includes welcoming guests, responding to their needs, replenishing amenities and supplies, maintaining towels and linens, and ensuring facilities remain clean, orderly, safe and inviting throughout the day. Spa Cleaning Attendants are responsible for cleaning and sanitizing public areas, treatment rooms and locker rooms in accordance with applicable federal, state, local and company standards. They monitor facility use for guest safety, direct guests to changing areas as needed, and ensure guests are properly checked in and out of lockers when necessary. The position is 95% indoors and requires a full range of movement, including standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, climbing, crawling, squatting, lifting, pushing and pulling. The role requires lifting up to 25 pounds.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to effectively communicate with guests and employees.
- Positive and friendly demeanor at all times.
- Ability to perform the physical demands of the job, including a full range of movement and lifting up to 25 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize the spa, fitness center, locker rooms, showers, vanities, machines and equipment according to federal, state, local and company standards.
- Acknowledge and respond to guests’ needs and inquiries efficiently and in a friendly manner.
- Stock and replenish supplies and products, including clean towels, fresh water and drinking cups.
- Monitor facility use to help ensure guest safety.
- Instruct guests where they may change or dress for treatments and experiences.
- Keep guest lounge and deck areas neat and sanitary.
- Maintain all spaces in neat, safe and sanitary condition.
- Ensure guests are properly checked in and out of lockers as necessary.
