About The Position
Impact Recruiting Solutions is seeking a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) for a multi-specialty practice in the Bronx, New York. This is a flexible float role providing coverage across multiple locations as needed for call-outs, vacations, and other staffing needs. The position does not involve deliveries. The WHNP provides comprehensive women's health care, including patient education, annual exams and well-woman care, family planning and birth control counseling, care during perimenopause and menopause, and diagnosis and management of sexually transmitted infections. The role requires experience with electronic health records and the ability to adapt to different practice locations and patient populations. This is a full-time position with an annual salary of $130,000 to $150,000, commensurate with experience. The position offers experience in a collaborative, innovative, and supportive multi-specialty practice environment across multiple locations, serving diverse communities in the Bronx.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited Women's Health Nurse Practitioner program.
- Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license.
- Board certification as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP).
- At least 1 year of experience in women's health as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Proficiency in annual well-woman exams, family planning counseling, STI diagnosis and management, and managing perimenopause and menopause symptoms.
- Experience with electronic health records.
- Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, empathy, cultural competence, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to different practice locations and patient populations.
Responsibilities
- Educate patients about women's health issues.
- Perform annual exams and provide well-woman care.
- Help patients with family planning and selecting birth control.
- Provide care for patients during perimenopause and menopause.
- Diagnose and help patients manage sexually transmitted infections.
- Provide float coverage across multiple practice locations as needed for call-outs, vacations, and other staffing needs.
