About The Position

The Nurse Practitioner provides primary care to patients while assisting physicians in the clinic, under the direct supervision of the Managing Director and in accordance with established standards and practices. The role includes caring for fertility patients and requires women's healthcare experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., with coverage at the 38th Street location as needed.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program.
At least 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a clinic setting.
Valid Nurse Practitioner license.
ANA certification.
Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
Women's healthcare experience and a desire to work with fertility patients.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of fertility experience is highly preferred.
OB-GYN REI experience is preferred but not required.
Ultrasound experience is preferred.
Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Obtain complete medical histories and physical data from patients.
Interpret and integrate patient data to determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Perform complete physical examinations and record findings.
Collaborate with physicians in managing patients’ acute and long-term medical needs.
Order appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures.
Synthesize data to determine preliminary diagnoses and therapeutic plans using principles of prevention.
Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
Maintain and review patient records, charts, and other pertinent information.
Triage patient telephone calls and provide consultation.
Perform diagnostic procedures, including HSC, STP, and biopsies, as well as artificial insemination.
Perform ultrasounds for patients during morning monitoring.
