Women's Health Nurse Practitioner
About The Position
Unified Women’s Healthcare is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner for its affiliated practice, Genesis OBGYN, at Arizona Gynecology Consultants in Mesa, Arizona, in the Phoenix metropolitan area. This is an outpatient-only role focused exclusively on gynecologic care, with no inpatient responsibilities. The provider joins an established specialty practice with 11 gynecologic surgeons, 15 advanced practice providers, and experienced clinical and administrative staff. The schedule includes a four-day clinical workweek and one day reserved for administrative time. Arizona Gynecology Consultants has served the Phoenix area for more than 20 years and is part of Genesis OBGYN’s network of more than 100 providers. The practice offers a six-month gynecology fellowship for advanced practice providers, available to new graduates and experienced primary care providers interested in specializing in gynecology and expanding their procedural skills. Unified Women’s Healthcare is affiliated with a physician-owned Ob-Gyn practice network of more than 900 practices and 2,500 providers across 17 states and Washington, DC. The company provides its medical affiliates with tools, training, support, and practice resources, while governance and clinical decision-making remain the domain of providers.
Requirements
- National Nurse Practitioner certification, or ability to obtain it.
- Unrestricted, active Arizona licensure, or ability to obtain it.
- Current unrestricted DEA license, or ability to obtain it.
- CPR, BLS, and NALS certification, or ability to obtain them.
- Proficiency in assessment and development of treatment plans.
- Ability to communicate with patients, team members, and management staff.
- Ability to make care decisions based on best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician.
