Requirements

Recent graduate with a degree/diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline
Solid foundational understanding of Warehouse Management Systems and standard warehouse operations (receiving, shipping, scanning)
Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems; specific knowledge of Apriso (MES) is highly preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to clearly translate technical requirements and issues while collaborating with cross-functional implementation teams
Fast learner, highly organized, and comfortable stepping into an active, fast-paced project environment

Responsibilities

Execute, test, and finalize core WMS functions, specifically focusing on shipment scanning, shipment creation, and container scanning
Monitor, analyze, and report on key WMS Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure the system meets operational targets
Act as the primary technical liaison between our internal IT department and the Apriso (MES) implementation team
Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure seamless data flow between the WMS and MES environments
Document final processes and assist with end-user support as we transition to the live environment
Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by all health, safety and environmental rules and regulations, promoting safety in the workplace
Comply with the requirements of CTPAT/PIP
Conduct business in an ethical manner in compliance with the Magna Code of Conduct
Report all accidents/incidents and unsafe conditions/behavior
Adhere to applicable quality systems and IATF-16949 standards
Adhere to and promote the Employee Charter and work within the rules, regulations and guidelines of the Plastcoat Employee Handbook
Participate in and support Continuous Improvement initiatives
Maintain work area in accordance with the principles of 5S and operate daily within these standards
Ensure work area is kept neat and organized
Perform other duties as required
