About The Position

2020 Companies is hiring a part-time retail sales representative for its Verizon Wireless sales program inside Walmart 1063 in Geneva, Alabama. The role focuses exclusively on Verizon products and services in a fast-paced retail environment. Representatives use a direct fulfillment model, ordering devices for customers rather than selling from in-store inventory. The position offers a $14–$15 per hour base-pay guarantee, an advanced draw based on hours worked in-store, and uncapped commission. Expected hours are 20–30 per week. Some travel may be required, with mileage compensation when applicable. Flexible availability is preferred; scheduling is expected to focus primarily on Tuesday through Saturday, and candidates must be open to varying schedules as the program evolves. Paid training and advancement opportunities for top performers are offered.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Six months of prior sales, retail, telecommunications, or marketing experience is preferred.
Wireless, retail, or commissioned sales background.

Responsibilities

Engage customers in retail locations, identify their wireless needs, and offer assistance.
Promote and sell Verizon phones, plans, products, and wireless services.
Educate customers about products, promotions, pricing, and service options.
Process new accounts, upgrades, add-a-lines, and wireless activations.
Use direct fulfillment systems to order devices for customers.
Build customer confidence and maintain strong customer relationships while delivering exceptional service.
Meet or exceed personal sales goals and established monthly or weekly sales quotas.
Accurately document and report sales, track activity, and communicate it to Retail Operations.
Submit paperwork completely and accurately.
Keep the workstation or kiosk clean, organized, functional, and presentable.
Maintain regular and prompt attendance and contribute to customer and client satisfaction.
