About The Position

Join Apple’s wireless silicon development team, which develops highly energy-efficient wireless silicon and technologies that enhance the product-level user experience. The wireless SOC organization spans RF/Analog, Systems/PHY/MAC, VLSI/RTL, Emulation, Design Verification, Test and Validation, and FW/SW engineering. In this role, you will contribute to silicon design with an impact on delivering functional products to customers. You will develop signal-processing-intensive designs for wireless communication SoCs supporting diverse connectivity technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
• Some level of fixed-point knowledge and experience with bit-true verification.
• Understanding of DSP communication algorithms and trade-offs between performance and complexity.
• Good knowledge of modern design techniques and energy-efficient, low-power logic design.
• Ability to work well in a team and be productive under aggressive schedules.
• Excellent communication skills and self-motivation.
• Experience with front-end CAD tools such as synthesis, CDC, and power analysis.

Responsibilities

• Write specifications and other documents based on MATLAB/C system models.
• Define microarchitecture.
• Design RTL logic.
• Support verification.
• Run tools to ensure lint-free design.
• Collaborate with algorithm and software teams to ensure performance and power efficiency.
