About The Position

Your Wireless, a Verizon Wireless Premium Retailer, is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate in Houma, Louisiana. The role provides customers with a positive experience by explaining Verizon products and services and guiding them through selection and purchase. Associates work to meet and exceed sales standards, support store leadership, complete required training, and build the professional skills needed for potential career advancement. Compensation is advertised as up to $30.00 per hour or more, including base hourly pay, commissions, and incentives, with an uncapped commission structure. The position requires a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and travel to locations within the assigned district as business needs dictate.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in a similar retail role, preferably with Verizon Wireless or another wireless business.
Proof of achievement in prior sales and customer service roles.
Enthusiasm for retail, wireless technology and products, and customer service.
Ability to travel to various locations within the assigned district as business needs dictate.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a flexible schedule.
Must be at least 18 years old and able to provide proof of U.S. work eligibility.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Create an ideal customer experience for each customer.
Assist new and existing customers throughout the sales process.
Educate customers about Verizon products and services.
Generate sufficient sales to meet and exceed company and location production standards.
Handle customer situations as trained to satisfy customers’ needs.
Assist the Store Manager and Assistant Manager with assigned individual or team tasks.
Complete required training as directed by Your Wireless and Verizon Wireless.
Set an example of personal and professional conduct for employees and others.
Develop professional skills to take on additional responsibilities and pursue career advancement opportunities.
Conduct outbound activities to bring customers into company locations.
