About The Position

West Shore Home is a technology-driven home improvement company specializing in bathrooms, flooring, windows, and doors, with more than 40 locations and over 3,000 employees. The Window & Door Installer assists with safe and effective installations in accordance with company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols while providing customers with a five-star experience. The position is based in Birmingham, Alabama, and follows a Monday–Friday schedule with a 6:30 AM start time. Paid training is provided.

Requirements

• Experience in carpentry, remodeling, or construction, or a willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• A valid smartphone or smart device to access company-required systems using two-factor authentication.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
• Travel to customers’ homes, greet customers, and establish rapport.
• Remove existing window or door openings and install replacement windows and exterior doors.
• Replace trim.
• Clean up thoroughly and take care of the customer’s home.
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
• Follow company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols during installations.
