About The Position

West Shore Home is hiring a Window & Door Installer in Birmingham, Alabama. The Installer assists with safe and effective installations according to company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols, while providing customers with a 5-star experience. The role includes paid training.

Installers arrive at the warehouse at 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks, travel to customers’ homes, remove existing window and door installations, install replacement windows and exterior doors, replace trim, clean up, collect paperwork and payment, and return to the warehouse. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with a 6:30 AM start time. Approximate pay is $17–$20 per hour; final compensation may vary based on factors including background, skills, abilities, and geographic location.

Requirements

• Experience in carpentry, remodeling, or construction, or a willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• A valid smartphone or smart device to log into company-required systems using two-factor authentication.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
• Travel to customers’ homes, greet them, and establish rapport.
• Remove existing window and door installations, install replacement windows and exterior doors, and replace trim.
• Clean up thoroughly and take care of customers’ homes.
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
• Follow company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols.
