Window & Door Installer - Paid Training!
About The Position
West Shore Home is hiring a Window & Door Installer in Charleston, South Carolina. The Installer assists with safe and effective installations in accordance with company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocol, while providing customers with a five-star experience. The role includes paid training. The workday begins at the warehouse at 6:30 AM, where installers load materials and trucks before traveling to customers’ homes. Installers remove existing window and door components, install replacement windows and exterior doors, replace trim, clean the work area, collect paperwork and payment, and return to the warehouse. The approximate pay range is $17–$20 per hour; final compensation may vary based on factors including background, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location.
Requirements
- Experience in carpentry, remodeling, or construction, or a willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- A valid smartphone or smart device to log into company-required systems using two-factor authentication.
Responsibilities
- Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
- Travel to customers’ homes, greet them, and establish rapport.
- Remove existing window and door components and install replacement windows and exterior doors.
- Replace trim.
- Clean up thoroughly and take care of the customer’s home.
- Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
- Follow company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocol.
