About The Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position. The role involves receiving customers, accepting payments, operating the Odyssey privilege control system, assisting with board meal changes, handling cash transactions, answering student questions, enforcing Dining Services policies, relieving Dining Room Attendants for breaks, washing tables, performing general dining room housekeeping duties, and providing exceptional customer service. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to stand for 3–4 hours
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to handle and prepare meat products in a commercial kitchen
• Compliance with all food safety and sanitation requirements including taking out jewelry and wearing a hairnet.
• Successfully complete a Criminal History Background Check
• In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
• This position does not support visa sponsorship for continued employment.
