About The Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position. The role involves preparing food items, collaborating with full-time staff, adhering to safety policies, and maintaining equipment.

Requirements

  • Ability to stand for 3–4 hours
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to handle and prepare meat products in a commercial kitchen
  • Compliance with all food safety and sanitation requirements including taking out jewelry and wearing a hairnet.
  • Must be able to work with pork
  • Must be a UND student
  • Must be eligible to work in the US and complete employment eligibility verification form
  • Must not require visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Prepares fruit and vegetables
  • Follows and prepares recipes such as sandwiches, salads and more.
  • Collaborates with full-time staff to fulfill the needs of Dining Services
  • Follows Best Food Practices Safety Policies
  • Correctly uses and maintains all equipment provided to complete tasks
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Prepares and cuts meats
