About The Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position for UND students only. The role involves maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the dining room and service areas, stocking essential items, and ensuring food safety standards are met. The position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, handle meat products, and comply with all food safety and sanitation requirements.

Requirements

• Ability to stand for 3–4 hours
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to handle and prepare meat products in a commercial kitchen
• Compliance with all food safety and sanitation requirements including taking out jewelry and wearing a hairnet.
• Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
• This position does not support visa sponsorship for continued employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains Dining room/assist with Service Areas cleaning and appearance
• Insures and stocks clean napkins, flatware, glassware, salt and peppers, and table media
• Works with sanitizer chemical to sterilize contact areas in dining rooms.
• Spot clean glass and windows when required.
• Follows Best Food Practices Safety Policies
• Correctly uses and maintains all equipment provided to complete tasks
• Performs other duties as assigned
