About The Position

Join Apple’s Software Engineering team to help design and develop wireless connectivity technologies, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Thread. The Wireless Technologies and Ecosystems team seeks a software engineer to help ensure the quality and stability of wireless and networking technologies across iOS, macOS, tvOS, visionOS, and watchOS. As a Wireless Stability Test Engineer, you will work on a team responsible for the stability of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Thread software on Apple products. You will conduct stress and stability testing of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technologies and features for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and Mac product lines.

Requirements

Experience testing wireless technologies, especially Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, through functional, performance, or stability testing.
Deep understanding of software quality assurance methodologies and practices.
Good understanding of operating system concepts.
Experience developing test strategies and methodologies.
Experience developing automated test cases.
Ability to communicate clearly and drive projects across many teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or Telecommunications Engineering.

Nice To Haves

Automation experience using C/C++ or scripting languages such as Python or shell.
Experience using AI tools in testing or automation and analyzing test or log data.
Good working knowledge of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth protocols; CWNA preferred.
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or Telecommunications Engineering.
Experience building AI-assisted workflows, test cases, and dashboards that turn test data into insights.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and work with cross-functional teams.
Attention to details that matter to customers.
Passion for learning.

Responsibilities

Conduct stress and stability testing for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technologies and features across Apple product lines.
Help ensure the quality and stability of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Thread, and networking technologies across Apple platforms.
Develop test strategies, test methodologies, and automated test cases.
Analyze test or log data to draw actionable insights about quality and stability.
Communicate clearly and drive projects across multiple teams.
