About The Position

Join Apple’s Wireless Technologies and Ecosystems team, which develops and integrates technologies intended to enrich people’s lives and deliver excellent user experiences. The role supports development of Apple’s next generation of cellular products.

As a key team member, you will work across software engineering, QA, project management, and carrier account management to develop and deliver software that enables Apple cellular devices to work on carrier networks worldwide. The position calls for strong problem-solving and communication skills, solid programming ability, attention to detail, and a commitment to product quality in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong object-oriented programming and design skills in C++, Objective-C, or Swift.
• Proficiency in one or more scripting languages, including Python.
• Experience with Unix shell scripting (bash/sh/csh).
• Experience developing with SQL and NoSQL database systems such as MySQL and MongoDB.
• Strong debugging experience.
• Experience applying AI to real-world problem solving.

Nice To Haves

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proven ability to take ownership, effectively prioritize, and deliver tasks on schedule.
• Development experience with macOS X or iOS system frameworks.
• Experience developing web applications and services.
• Experience writing automation scripts and tools.
• System software (mobile or desktop) release experience.
• Familiarity with wireless networks and mobile device configuration.
