About The Position

Join the Bluetooth Wireless team, which develops technologies to enrich people’s lives through efficient and useful algorithms and established wireless technologies such as Bluetooth and its coexistence with other radios. This role takes a systems approach to enabling the best performance of wireless radios and calls for knowledge of wireless communications, signal processing, and software engineering.

The position focuses on designing Bluetooth systems, particularly their wireless aspects. The engineer will contribute during early design phases, influence software design, and provide hardware design recommendations. The role involves communication with cross-functional partners in hardware, software, firmware, marketing, and performance teams, and coordination across radio technologies including Wi-Fi, cellular, Thread, and satellite. Responsibilities also include specifying requirements for design improvements and identifying new opportunities for enhancement.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of industry experience.
• Strong experience with Python.
• Broad experience in overall system design and implementation.
• Solid understanding of multithreaded programming and synchronization.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently or in small teams.
• Comfortable managing projects across different domains.
• Excellent debugging skills in wireless communications environments.
