About The Position

Join the Wireless Software Engineering team to develop and integrate technologies for audio, gaming, fitness, location, and other experiences. The Core Bluetooth team is seeking a software engineer to design, implement, and maintain next-generation connectivity solutions, including wireless protocols such as exposure notifications on Apple products. The role involves solving problems in software for current and future products and accessories, and integrating Bluetooth features and hardware into products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Very strong C++, C, and embedded software skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, programming, and debugging skills.
• Experience with AI tools, Claude, and workflows.
• Self-motivated and dedicated, with demonstrated creative and critical-thinking capabilities.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment, communicate clearly, and drive multiple projects across teams.
• Passion for solving everyday problems in innovative ways and attention to details meaningful to customers.

Nice To Haves

• Bluetooth and/or other wireless communications experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the software integration of new Bluetooth features into Apple products.
• Develop and support software integration of new Bluetooth hardware into products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support successful product and feature launches.
