Western Plant Sales Manager – Cement This position reports to the Head of Service Site Sales US & Canada for administrative matters. Workload will be initiated by Cement North America (NA) Service Manager. The incumbent must possess the necessary skills to negotiate orders up to $3 million in value. The Cement NA Plant Sales Manager must work closely with other sales areas and CHQ based sales and product engineers as well as management personnel. The Cement NA Plant Sales Manager’s customer contacts are primarily at the level of plant manager, maintenance, production, operations managers, and purchasing agents. The incumbent must be very customer oriented and maintain a high level of market awareness. The Cement NA Plant Sales Manager will strive to resolve any customer complaints or problems in a manner that works to improve the sales opportunities and department profitability. The Cement NA Plant Sales Manager communicates with customers and processes inquiries and orders often, making sizing and pricing decisions as needed. LOCATION: Western Plant Sales Manager must live within reasonable distance to a major airport: The western district sales manager must live in or close to the district which is defined as all states west of Montana, Wyoming, Colorado and New Mexico.

Requirements

  • 5 – 7 Years in sales
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Travel: 75%

Responsibilities

  • Drive profitable growth of total Fuller Product Range in Cement.
  • Interface with customer, understand customer needs and provide customer-oriented solutions covering full lifecycle.
  • Owns the customer site relationship.
  • Ensure generation of leads from site/customer visits.
  • Ensuring deep knowledge of customer issues and business challenges
  • Maintain high level of market and industry awareness
  • Provide feedback into the business regarding customer needs and market intelligence.
  • Responsible for retaining and strengthening client relationships
  • Develop compelling strategies and solutions to retain, win and expand business within the named accounts
  • Ensuring high-quality customer service and issue resolution to retain current clients
  • Identifying client business requirements and supporting proposals and quotations
  • Maintenance of CRM with accurate information, working in collaboration with all other sales functions
  • Work with Account manager for total customer understanding and support
