This clinical leadership role includes direct supervision and support of field infusion nurses, coordination with partner agencies, and oversight of clinical documentation to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. The Regional Manager plays a critical role in onboarding, training, and mentoring nursing staff while upholding clinical standards and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This position serves as a key clinical resource and works in close collaboration with the Regional Director.

Requirements

  • Active, unrestricted Multistate RN license in good standing.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, including at least 2 years in infusion therapy.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a nursing leadership, supervisory, or management role.
  • Experience working with home health agencies or in home infusion care settings.
  • Strong knowledge of home infusion therapy, patient care standards, and clinical documentation best practices.
  • Proficiency with EMR systems and Google Workspace tools.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned region as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
  • Master’s degree or certification in nursing leadership or administration is a plus.
  • Active California RN license in good standing.
  • CRNI® (Certified Registered Nurse Infusion) and/or IgCN® (Immunoglobulin Certified Nurse) certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review and approve infusion nursing documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor adherence to infusion therapy protocols and infection control practices.
  • Appropriately escalate complex clinical concerns or patient cases to the Regional Director.
  • Promote high-quality patient outcomes through routine audits, performance evaluations, and constructive feedback.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support field infusion nurses across the assigned region.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and implement improvement plans when necessary.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, clinical excellence, and continuous professional growth.
  • Ensure adequate nurse staffing and coordinate schedules with administrative teams to meet operational needs.
  • Lead onboarding for new infusion nurses, ensuring thorough and effective integration into the team.
  • Develop and deliver training programs focused on infusion best practices, clinical documentation, and safety protocols.
  • Provide ongoing education and professional development opportunities to maintain staff competency.
  • Act as the primary liaison between field nurses, internal departments, and external partner agencies.
  • Ensure clear, timely communication among all stakeholders to support seamless, coordinated care.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, case conferences, and strategic planning sessions.
  • Demonstrate adaptability by stepping in to assist with responsibilities beyond standard duties when needed, ensuring continuity of care and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain open, proactive communication with nursing staff, leadership, and the Regional Director to address workload distribution, staffing concerns, and emerging needs, fostering a culture of transparency and collaboration.
  • Ensure that nursing services are provided in full compliance with state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and internal policies.
  • Support internal and external audits, regulatory surveys, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Stay current with best practices in infusion therapy and home health nursing.
  • Promptly identify and escalate significant clinical, staffing, or operational issues to the Regional Director, while exercising sound judgment to resolve routine matters independently.
