ASDC’s four Regional Directors (Southern, Eastern, Midwest, and Western) report to the ASDC Executive Director. The Regional Directors serve as advisors and thought partners for State Party leaders and staff on all aspects of building up strong Democratic infrastructure in the states: coordinated campaigns, operations, fundraising, communications, training, and more. They foster communication between and among the State Parties in their region, facilitating troubleshooting of challenges and the sharing of best practices, and help all State Parties access the resources and support available to them from various DNC departments. The Regional Directors are also the lead communicators to State Parties on DNC projects, programs, activities, and initiatives. They ensure relevant DNC departments and staff are kept apprised of State Party activities, work, and opportunities for DNC support, and provide input in the planning process to ensure State Parties’ perspectives and needs are well represented in DNC programs, activities, and initiatives. In short, ASDC Regional Directors are the main point of contact for all items of business relating to or touching on State Parties.
