About The Position

The Wellness RN provides on-site nursing assessments, health coaching, immunizations, health screenings, and educational classes for clients. The role requires nursing licensure and CPR certification, strong verbal and written communication skills, and basic computer skills. Experience in health promotion and wellness, as well as the ability to perform a range of clinical tests, is preferred. An LPN is accepted; a BSN is preferred.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Alabama or multistate nursing licensure; an Alabama nursing license is also specified in the additional skills and abilities.
• Current valid Alabama driver's license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to provide on-site immunizations.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred; LPN accepted.
• Previous experience in health promotion and wellness preferred.
• Ability to perform phlebotomy, blood pressure and pulse measurement, spirometry, vision and hearing testing, height and weight measurements, body composition analysis, and hip/waist ratio preferred.

Responsibilities
