About The Position

Nurses in the Center for Nursing Entrepreneurship provide direct care to individuals and groups in a variety of settings. Nurses conduct full-panel biometric screenings at employer sites throughout Monroe County and surrounding counties using point-of-care testing, provide real-time follow-up counseling and education, and refer or recommend clients to appropriate programs. Care is holistic and delivered within an evidence- and theory-based coaching model. Nurse coaches work with clients over time to build a dynamic relationship as clients pursue wellness goals. Nurses also provide comprehensive influenza vaccination services to the community during peak vaccination months. The position requires regular daily travel to employer and community sites. A reliable means of transportation is required; mileage reimbursement is provided.
