About The Position

Spring Arbor of Sevierville is seeking compassionate Wellness Nurses (LPNs) to join their growing nursing team. This role involves leading non-licensed associates, monitoring resident well-being in Assisted Living, and ensuring high-quality resident care. The Wellness Nurse will guide the team through daily assignments, coach associates, and solve problems to maintain excellent care standards. Responsibilities include delivering resident care that meets provider orders, regulatory standards, and best nursing practices, administering medications accurately, responding quickly to changes in condition, and providing first aid when necessary. The Wellness Nurse supervises the delivery of care and services to residents, performing procedures within the guidelines of state and local regulations and accepted standards of care. Ongoing communication with associates, residents, families, professional consultants, and third-party providers is crucial for resident welfare.

Requirements

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Active LPN license in good standing
  • CPR/AED certification
  • 1+ year of LPN experience in senior care
  • A clean background check and commitment to a drug-free workplace
  • Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing with the state licensing agency, as required by state regulations.
  • Must have at least one (1) year of experience working as an LPN in a senior care setting.
  • Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with computerized documentation system
  • Previous experience with computerized resident documentation systems a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily supervision and leadership to assigned non-licensed associates and other designated personnel in meeting the residents needs and monitor the condition of residents in AL.
  • Make work assignments and meet with associates regularly to assist in identifying and correcting problem areas, and/or the improvement of care and services.
  • Provide resident care according to health care providers orders and in accordance with regulatory requirements, recognized nursing practice, established standards, and Company policy.
  • Accurately administer prescribed medications, supervise the continuity of resident care, respond to changes in resident condition, medications, or other circumstances requiring special care needs and perform first aid as required.
