About The Position

Redwood Terrace is seeking a compassionate and experienced Director of Wellness & Assisted Living to lead their assisted living and resident wellness services. This leadership role combines clinical oversight, operational leadership, and relationship-building to promote exceptional care and an engaging resident experience. The position is full-time, salaried, and exempt, located onsite in Escondido, California.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Current California LVN license in good standing
• Current CPR certification
• At least five years of related experience, including at least two years in long-term care nursing or acute care
• At least one year of supervisory experience
• Current RCFE Administrator certification or the ability to obtain certification within six months of hire
• Valid California driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Lead assisted living and resident wellness services.
• Provide clinical oversight.
• Provide operational leadership.
• Build relationships to promote exceptional care and an engaging resident experience.
• Collaborate across departments to support residents and reimagine aging well.
