About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Wellness Nurse Manager to join our team at Ridgemere located in Conway, AR. This part-time role involves providing direct nursing care, supervising the Wellness team, and ensuring residents receive person-centered care. The position requires a compassionate individual with a positive attitude who can exemplify the core values of Arrow Senior Living, ensuring residents feel safe and cared for. The role also involves diligent documentation, including resident assessments and medical records.

Requirements

• Must have current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing within state of employment.
• Must have thorough working knowledge of current care standards and regulations.
• Must have comprehensive working knowledge of current medication regulation and law.
• Must have knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to the residents.
• Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our Residents!
• Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds and perform two-person transfers.
• Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
• Must be criminally cleared.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in hands-on care of memory impaired residents is preferred, but not required.
• Experience with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) as it is preferred, but not required.
• A positive and energetic attitude who will LOVE our Residents!

Responsibilities

• In the absence of department heads, this position is in charge of the building.
• Assist and lead the Wellness team and other departments in ensuring quick, reliable, and person-centered care is provided.
• Be available to help with call lights and requests for assistance from the team.
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency that puts the needs of a resident first.
• Complete resident assessments, medical records, and internal documents accurately and efficiently, and file them correctly.
• Provide direct (hands-on) nursing care, including medication passes as needed.
• Ensure each interaction with a resident is professional, caring, and ends with the resident feeling safe and cared for.
