About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Part-Time Wellness Nurse Manager for Vitalia Solon located in Solon, OH. This role involves supervising the Wellness team, providing direct nursing care, managing resident assessments and medical records, and exemplifying the company's core values of providing professional, caring, and safe interactions with residents. The position requires a leader who can set a good example, be available to assist with resident needs, and demonstrate a sense of urgency in prioritizing resident care.

Requirements

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing within state of employment.
Thorough working knowledge of current care standards and regulations.
Comprehensive working knowledge of current medication regulation and law.
Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to the residents.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Must be active and able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds and perform two-person transfers.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Nice To Haves

Experience in hands-on care of memory-impaired residents is preferred.
Experience with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) is preferred.

Responsibilities

In the absence of department heads, this position is in charge of the building.
Assist and lead the Wellness team and other departments in ensuring quick, reliable, and person-centered care is provided.
Be available to help with call lights and requests for assistance from the team.
Demonstrate a sense of urgency that puts the needs of a resident first.
Complete resident assessments, medical records, and internal documents accurately and efficiently, and file them correctly.
Provide direct (hands-on) nursing care, including medication passes as needed.
