About The Position
The Wellness Coordinator manages the Resident Care Department schedule, including shifts and assignments for Resident Care Associates. The role also includes caregiving shifts as needed to provide coverage or support. The position is based at Concord Park in Concord, Massachusetts, a senior living community with a safe, home-like, and fun work environment. The role is full-time, with pay starting at $22 per hour.
Requirements
- Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA).
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, and transfer residents, with or without assistance.
- Ability to learn systems including calendar management, scheduling tools, and email software.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers.
- Punctuality and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Manage call-outs, time-off requests, and other scheduling issues, finding appropriate coverage in accordance with state requirements and community guidelines.
- Provide Resident Care Associate coverage when schedule openings cannot be filled.
- Spend quality time with seniors and provide direct personal care.
- Join or lead activities with residents.
- Track care and other tasks using the electronic health record system.
- Assist the housekeeping team with light housekeeping services.
- Escort residents to meals and assist with dining services as needed.
