About The Position
The Wellness Coordinator manages the Resident Care Department schedule, including shifts and assignments for Resident Care Associates, and takes caregiving shifts as needed to provide coverage or support. The role includes providing direct personal care to senior residents, spending quality time with them, and helping with activities. The position is based at Concord Park in Concord, Massachusetts.
Requirements
- Hold a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification.
- Be able to stand, sit, bend, and transfer residents with or without assistance.
- Be able to learn calendar management, scheduling tools, and email software.
- Communicate effectively with residents and co-workers.
- Demonstrate punctuality and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Manage call-outs, time-off requests, and other scheduling issues, finding appropriate coverage in accordance with state requirements and community guidelines.
- Provide Resident Care Associate coverage when schedule openings cannot be filled.
- Spend quality time with seniors and provide direct personal care.
- Join or lead activities with residents.
- Track care and other tasks using the electronic health record system.
- Assist the housekeeping team with light housekeeping services.
- Escort residents to meals and assist with dining services as needed.
