About The Position

Home Care Assistance of Arlington is hiring dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide in-home support to seniors. The role focuses on helping clients maintain their well-being and quality of life while building professional relationships with clients, family members, and coworkers. Caregivers follow each client's personal care service plan, document completed duties, and report changes in the client's condition. The service area includes Arlington, Mansfield, Duncanville, DeSoto, Grand Prairie, Irving, and surrounding areas.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience as a CNA, HHA, or PCA.
• Provide professional references.
• Alzheimer's or dementia experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Proof of current car insurance.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living, including hygiene, incontinence care, mobility and transfers, light housekeeping, and meal preparation.
• Establish and maintain effective communication and professional relationships with clients, family members, and coworkers.
• Perform duties assigned in the personal care service plan and document completion.
• Help keep the client's environment clean and organized.
• Remind clients to take self-administered medications.
• Report changes in the client's condition to support quality care.
