About The Position

Home Care Assistance of Arlington is seeking dependable, compassionate caregivers to support seniors in their homes and help improve their quality of life. The role involves assisting clients with activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living, following personal care service plans, documenting completed duties, and communicating with clients, family members, and coworkers. Caregivers also help maintain an organized home environment, remind clients to take self-administered medications, and report changes in clients’ conditions.

The company offers flexible availability, the ability to work near home, and flexible start dates. Its service areas include Arlington, Mansfield, Duncanville, DeSoto, Grand Prairie, Irving, and surrounding areas; the main office is located at 6507 S Cooper St., Suite 129, Arlington, TX 76001.

Requirements

• Two years of professional experience as a CNA, HHA, or PCA.
• Provide professional references.
• Alzheimer’s or dementia experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proof of current car insurance.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients at home with ADLs and IADLs, including hygiene, incontinence care, mobility and transfers, light housekeeping, and meal preparation.
• Establish and maintain effective communication and professional relationships with clients, family members, and coworkers.
• Perform duties assigned in each personal care service plan and document completion.
• Help keep the client’s environment clean and organized.
• Remind clients to take self-administered medications.
• Report changes in clients’ conditions.
