About The Position

Sun Tan City is hiring a Wellness and Tanning Sales Consultant to help clients choose tanning and wellness options and build confidence through friendly, knowledgeable service. The role is based in an upbeat, fast-paced salon environment and includes opportunities to earn performance bonuses and grow within the company. No experience is required; training is provided. The consultant develops positive client relationships, identifies and meets client needs, and recommends products and services. The job also involves meeting minimum sales requirements, cleaning tanning equipment and salon areas, and working collaboratively while following company policies and procedures. Compensation is $15.92 per hour, with the potential for performance bonuses and performance-based raises. Requirements

Basic computer skills and knowledge.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment.
Ability to lift or assist with lifting items and heavy boxes.
Ability to bend down to pick up trash, towels, and other items from floors.
Ability to perform salon cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service and ensure clients' needs are met professionally.
Engage clients, build positive relationships, and understand and meet their needs.
Recommend products and services to clients.
Meet minimum sales requirements.
Multitask by cleaning tanning beds as clients leave and engaging new clients as they arrive.
Help maintain the cleanliness of tanning rooms, lobby, restrooms, laundry, and storage areas.
Work cohesively with a team in a fast-paced salon environment and uphold company policies and procedures.
