About The Position

Sun Tan City is hiring a Wellness and Tanning Sales Consultant to provide friendly, professional customer service in a fast-paced salon environment. The consultant helps clients choose tanning and wellness options by learning about their needs and recommending suitable products and services. The role includes meeting minimum sales requirements, maintaining salon cleanliness, and working collaboratively with the team while following company policies and procedures. No experience is required; training is provided. The position offers a starting wage of $12.00 per hour, with performance bonuses and opportunities for performance-based raises.

Requirements

Basic computer skills and knowledge.
Ability to provide professional customer service and engage with clients.
Ability to make product and service recommendations and meet minimum sales requirements.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced salon environment.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment and bend down to pick up trash and towels.
Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes.
Ability to perform cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service and ensure clients’ needs are met professionally.
Build relationships with clients and understand and meet their needs.
Recommend products and services to clients.
Meet the minimum sales requirements.
Multitask by cleaning tanning beds as clients leave and engaging new clients as they arrive.
Help maintain the cleanliness of tanning rooms, the lobby, restrooms, laundry, and storage areas.
Work cohesively with the team in an upbeat, fast-paced salon environment.
Follow company policies and procedures.
